WebbFrom my understanding, the Federation itself does not have a "Federation-currency" that their citizens are dealing with if they interact with each other. However, the Federation does have "money" to deal with other species (for example to buy stuff from the Ferengi with Latinum) - and all federation citizens can, of course, own this kind of currency.
