The problem is that this "sat-ready" car needs another $500+ in parts and labor to actually get satellite radio. I would argue that it is not satellite ready, based on the money it costs to set everything up.
Webb7 nov. 2006 · 311 Posts. #2 · Jan 31, 2006. There isn't a "factory" option for a Sirius radio for the Fusion. Some Ford have Sirius ready radios and they'll have a "sat" button on them. They may be swapping in an F-150 radio because I know they are the same style and they have it. But to the best of my knowledge you'll need an external reciever.

I'm not sure what the options may be to get satellite radio if the car wasn't optioned with it originally. To get SYNC you have to buy a premium car for $3200 more, to get the sirius module to have the Sat radio that is controlled through the oem radio buttons cost in the $600 range installed in the base car.
