Hio phase retrieval
Webb11 mars 2012 · We also present a new reconstruction method whose reconstruction time is orders of magnitude faster than that of the current method-of-choice in phase retrieval---Hybrid Input-Output (HIO). Moreover, our method is capable of successful reconstruction even in the situations where HIO is known to fail. Webbphase retrieval techniques, especially when the number of samples is small. On account of the fast convergence and ease of implementation (e.g., no need to know the support of input signal in advance), the proposed SPR approach can serves an attractive alternative to the classic HIO [8] method for phase retrieval.

WebbThe hybrid input-output (HIO) algorithm [ 7] addresses the stagnation issue by introducing a negative feedback outside the object support. The HIO feedback step can be stated as ρn + 1(r) = PM ρn(r), r ∈ S = ρn(r) − βPMρn(r), r ∉ S, where β is the feedback parameter in the range (0, 1).
