But my “plan” (in quotations because my plans always seem to change) is to test annually, starting before breeding time and continue annual testing until I reach the future goal of a closed herd. WebJun 19, 2024 · There’s about a 50-90% chance to get a false-negative for Johne’s - especially in the early stages of the disease. It gives people peace of mind with a false-negative rather than a false-positive. Ignorance is bliss and all that. CL isn’t necessarily common, but it isn’t rare either.
