WebMar 6, 2011 · i have the gills on my g19 rtf2. i sold my gen3 g19 for it because the grip texture gives a much better purchase, and the gills are cut deeper than the straight serrations so i get a better grip when slingshotting the slide. glock should cut the straight serrations as deep as the gills. that would definitely be an improvement.

Especially these days when you can get a totally custom slide for $400. But if you like the .40 gun otherwise, it's a very fair trade. Used glock imho is worth about $350 in perfect condition.
