I had a membrane sweep with my first at 39 weeks exactly and I gave birth naturally 15 hrs later! ️ I found the sweep to be about 5 to 10 seconds of pretty extreme discomfort! But I told my doc to really go for it 😂. You do have to be at least a cm or more dilated to do a sweep fyi.
