WebOct 17, 2016 · I've been searching for a while and I haven't found any clear consensus where to place your floor jack to jack up the car so you can place the jack stands under the pinch weld. This first picture shows the areas (orange arrow) where the manual says should be used to jack the car up. WebIt looks like a hockey puck with a slot in it. Break your lugs loose while the car is on the ground. Once the car is up put your jack stand under at the point where the suspension mounts to the frame. As was stated previously leave the jack in place. Swap your wheel, remove jack stand lower car. Move to the next corner.
